Job Description

The Company: Nationally renowned Financial Planning Group firm who are looking to add an experienced Technical IFA Administrator to their adviser support structure in Dinnington, South Yorkshire. An excellent opportunity to join an expanding firm specializing in providing financial advice and wealth management services to individuals, companies and trusts:

  • Office Location: Dinnington, South Sheffield
  • Working Setup: Office-based with some flex to WFH once inducted

 

Package: £28-30k DOE + discretionary bonus and full company benefits

  • Key Benefits: Pension, 4xDIS & full study support to Diploma via the CII
  • Bonus: Discretionary, paid annually
  • Holidays: 25-days + stats

 

The Role: Initial point of contact for technical queries with regards to pensions, investments and protection casework, with responsibilities for processing new business applications and annual suitability report work. Further duties include:

  • Inputting new business applications onto provider systems and our own back-office system Intelligent Office
  • Policing the seamless process of application to completion for Pension, Investment, Mortgage & Protection business
  • Processing investment & pension withdrawals requests for clients including processing drawdown
  • requests and dealing with appropriate reporting requirements
  • Setting up income requests with various pension and investment providers including drawdown
  • Dealing with technical requests from the Paraplanning & advice departments in support of their functions
  • Fielding remuneration queries
  • Compliance monitoring & reporting
  • Producing Annual Suitability Reports

 

The Person: The successful candidate must come from a wealth management background and have exposure to supporting IFA’s/financial advisers in a private wealth focused advice environment. You will have a progressive mindset and be keen on developing into technical/paraplanning work in the short-term:

  • Essential: Admin/Adviser support experience in a private wealth environment
  • Desirable: Basic product research and report writing experience
  • Desirable: Working towards the QCF Level 4 Diploma
