Job Description

The Company: A well-regarded Financial Planning firm based in Chesterfield who work in conjunction with the firm’s accountancy brand is seeking an experienced Financial Planner to join their team. This opportunity has arisen due to the need to manage the initial inheritance and ongoing servicing of a portfolio of high-net-worth (HNW) private clients. Proven experience in advising and maintaining relationships with HNW individuals is essential for success in this role, with a financial package and bonus structure to attract a high-calibre individual.

 

  • Office Location: Chesterfield
  • Hybrid/Home Working: Yes – Flexible

 

Package: £55-65k base DOE & attractive bonus and full company benefits

  • Bonus: Circa £10k KPI bonus plus new business bonus on top

The Role: To deliver high-quality financial planning and wealth management services to an established portfolio of private clients, while also driving business growth through qualified, in-house leads.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide independent financial advice across key areas including investments, pensions, protection, and family financial planning.
  • Lead in-depth client meetings to assess financial circumstances, objectives, and risk tolerance.
  • Develop and present personalised financial strategies and recommendations tailored to individual client needs.
  • Continuously monitor and adjust client portfolios to ensure alignment with their financial goals.
  • Employ cashflow modelling tools to build and maintain detailed financial plans, updating them regularly in line with life events and review cycles.
  • Ensure all advice and recommendations are compliant with current financial regulations and industry standards.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, advice given, and portfolio changes.
  • Build and maintain long-standing client relationships, providing ongoing support and proactive financial advice.
  • Conduct routine financial reviews and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Deliver client reviews confidently, both virtually and in person.

 

The Person: You must be QCF level 4 Diploma qualified as a minimum, hold CAS and come with private wealth focused advisory experience. The role will suit someone looking for a client-centric, servicing biased role yet is motivated by developing new business development and onboarding AUM.
