Job Description

The Company: An extremely ambitious and growth orientated IFA firm with multiple sites across Yorkshire are now looking to add an experienced Financial Planner to cover a South Yorkshire patch. The need to hire is focused on the initial inheritance, and subsequent servicing of a private wealth focused client bank (circa £17m AUM) with a focus on building new business opportunities around that.

 

  • Office Location: Sheffield

Package: £40-50k base + 20-30% new business bonus & full company benefits

The Role: To deliver quality financial planning and wealth management to existing private wealth clients, whilst developing new business via warm, in-house lead opportunities. Duties include:

  • Qualifying new leads that are received by the business through various sources.
  • Providing a holistic financial planning service to all clients who fall within our target market.
  • Ensuring that the client file including Fact Find, Adviser meeting notes and associated documents are fully and comprehensively complete.
  • Working collaboratively with support staff to ensure work in progress is completed within the specified timescales and is wholly accurate, guaranteeing clients always receive a high standard of advice and care.
  • Providing support and training to educate and guide other staff members.
  • To assist with company, focus group projects, providing technical expertise as required.
  • Ensuring processes and workflows are followed
  • Maintaining your daily task organiser, planning your workload, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Delivering an efficient, friendly, and professional service for all clients, providers, professional partners, and visitors.
  • Looking for new business opportunities to enhance your own client base. This will include working with external professional partners, encouraging client referrals and networking to raise brand awareness.

 

The Person: You must be QCF level 4 Diploma qualified (minimum), hold CAS and hold private wealth focused advisory experience. The role will suit someone looking for a client-centric, service biased role yet is motivated by developing new business development and onboarding AUM which will result in enhanced earnings.
