Job Description
The Company: Nationally renowned IFA firm with a site in central Huddersfield looking to add a Trainee Paraplanner initially in a hybrid Admin/Paraplanner role, which will quickly develop into a pure paraplanning remit across the next 6-12-months:
- Office Location: Central Huddersfield
- Hybrid/Home Working: Office-based during probation, with flex to work 2-days from home thereafter
Package: £30-32k DOE + discretionary bonus and full company benefits
- Benefits: Pension, 4xDIS, 25-days holiday + stats & full study support to Diploma via the CII
- Bonus: Discretionary, paid annually
The Role: Trainee paraplanner role supporting 2 IFAs from a technical administration and research & suitability report writing perspective:
- Full product research and suitability report compilation
- Preparing client review pack for client meetings
- Obtaining quotations/valuations
- New business processing
- Dealing with product providers and managing relationships accordingly
- Assistance with client business development and relationship management
The Person: The successful candidate must come from a wealth management background and have exposure to supporting IFA’s/financial advisers in a private wealth focused advice environment. Administrators looking to step up, as well as those in already sat in a paraplanning role are encouraged to apply!
- Required: Basic suitability report compilation experience in a paraplanning capacity
- Preferred: Part-qualified Diploma with R0 exams done
- Preferred: Use of FE Analytics previously is desired, but not essential
