The Company: A leading UK-based wealth management company specialising in providing personalised financial planning, investment management, and retirement solutions who are looking to recruit an experienced Paraplanner into their Nottingham site on a hybrid working basis. With a strong commitment to responsible investing and a focused client-centric service, my client is looking to grow its presence across both the UK and internationally.

- Working Setup: Hybrid – 3-days office & 2-days WFH
Package: £37-47k base + full company benefits

The Role: As a dedicated Paraplanner to a team of high-performing Financial Planners you will complete all product research and report writing tasks, with responsibility for:
- Research and analysis: conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify suitable solutions. Perform and present cashflow modelling scenarios to clients as required.
- Technical work: prepare suitability letters and reports for annual reviews and new business, prepare tax calculations and financial plans for clients.
- Liaising with providers: speak to external companies to obtain information about existing and potential investments.
- Client requirements: determine client objectives and priorities, together with understanding client attitudes to risk and capacity for loss.
- Managing documentation: prepare client files for review meetings and maintain these compliantly throughout the client advice journey.
- Compliance and regulation: Working with honesty and integrity, you will be disciplined in following the principles and rules of the FCA, demonstrating adherence to relevant regulations, rules and procedures that apply to your role and conduct of the business.
- Supporting the team: share expertise and best practice with others and assist them with complex client matters. Carry out peer reviews.
- Technical knowledge: dedicate time to meet continuous professional development requirements and maintaining your product and technical knowledge.
The Person: You must be fully qualified and will hold an IFA/wealth management background and have exposure to supporting IFA’s/financial advisers in a technical paraplanning capacity across the breadth of private wealth advice. Do you hold?
- The QCF Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning
- 3+ years’ experience working in a paraplanning role
- Voyant & FE Analytics system knowledge and experience
- Investments, pensions and tax/trust caseload experience
