Job Description

The Company: A friendly, family-run Financial Services business looking to bring in an experienced Office Manager/Senior Financial Planning Administrator to join their close-knit team. This is a varied opportunity sitting at the centre of the day-to-day running of the business, supporting Advisers with client servicing, managing workflows and ensuring the administration and operational side of the office runs smoothly. It’s a role suited to someone who enjoys being hands-on, takes ownership and wants to make a genuine difference within a smaller, collaborative business.

  • Working Setup: Hybrid – 3-days office & 2-days WFH
  • Hours: Full-time

 

Package: £35-42k base DOE + company benefits

The Role: A varied Office Management/Financial Planning Administration role overseeing the day-to-day operation of the office which consists of a team of 4, whilst providing key administrative and client servicing support to the Adviser team. Key accountabilities include:

  • Oversee the day-to-day running and administration of the office
  • Manage workflows and ensure ongoing client servicing tasks are progressed efficiently
  • Provide administrative support to Financial Advisers across new and existing client work
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records using Intelligent Office (IO)
  • Liaise with providers and clients to obtain information and progress outstanding cases
  • Support the preparation and maintenance of compliance documentation
  • Assist with general financial planning administration and office-related duties as required
  • Monitor outstanding work and ensure key tasks are completed within agreed timescales
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy across client records and documentation
  • Act as a key point of support for colleagues across the wider business
  • Contribute to the smooth running and continued development of the office’s administrative processes

 

The Person: Previous experience working as an Office Manager or Senior Financial Planning Administrator within Financial Services is essential, alongside strong working knowledge of Intelligent Office (IO). The successful individual will be highly organised, possess excellent attention to detail and be comfortable managing multiple priorities within a busy office environment. A friendly and professional approach is important, alongside the ability to work collaboratively and take ownership of the day-to-day administration function.
