Job Description

The Company: A highly reputable and steadily growing IFA business based in Sheffield who sit at the forefront of HNW private client advice and are currently recruiting a Financial Planning Assistant as they look to expand their Adviser Support team. It’s a perfect opportunity for someone who is looking to progress into Office Management, with the progression path sitting within team-lead and operational arenas:

 

  • Office Location: Sheffield
  • Working Setup: Hybrid once inducted/settled

 

Package: £28-30k base DOE + bonus and full company benefits

  • Benefits: 5% pension, 4xDIS plus wider perks as well as full CII study support
  • Bonus: Bonus/profit share paid annually
  • Holidays: 26-days + stats
  • Hours:5 hrs per week with a 4pm finish on a Friday

 

The Role: A fast-developing Financial Planning Administrator role working alongside two high-performing financial advisers managing significant client AUM. Duties include:

  • Client meeting confirmation
  • IO input and record keeping (includes risk profiler reports)
  • Creation of client files (electronic)
  • Obtaining information from providers and management of letters of authorities to completion
  • Liaising with clients and providers
  • Creation of new client packs for adviser meetings
  • Creation of provider illustrations, applications and fund information
  • Production of client presentation documents
  • Processing of online/paper applications
  • Monitoring new business pipeline through to completion
  • Chasing underwriting for protection cases
  • Deal with provider documentation and produce all pre-meet review documentation as required
  • Process post meeting review meeting documentation and post review letters
  • Deal with day-to-day correspondence from providers

 

The Person: The successful candidate must come from an IFA/wealth management background and have a minimum of 2-years’ experience in supporting IFA’s/financial advisers from an Admin Support perspective. Do you hold:

  • Prior experience in a financial planning advice environment dealing with investments and pensions caseloads?
  • A desire to take on Admin/Office Management responsibilities?
