Job Description

The Company: Highly regarded and nationally recognised IFA firm and brand based in Central Leeds looking to recruit an experienced Financial Planning Assistant into their busy back-office team

Office Location: Central Leeds

  • Hybrid/Home Working: Yes – 3-days office, 2 days WFH

 

Salary/Package: £28-29k base DOE + bonus/benefits

  • Benefits: Pension, 4xDIS & Private Medical Cover alongside a full company benefits package inclusive of study support (CII)
  • Holidays: 25 days holiday plus stats
  • Bonus: Discretionary – Paid annually

 

The Role: The wide-ranging adviser support role working alongside multiple high performing financial advisers working within HNW private wealth advice circles. As a Financial Planning Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing a robust administration support function to the financial planning team in an efficient/timely manner
  • Supporting Paraplanners in production of suitability reports
  • Completes all work according to procedures and standards
  • Collates and verifies the accuracy of information and work provided
  • Assists in preparation of review and new client meeting
  • Supports business development through correct application of client processes and procedures
  • Assists team members as required and works effectively with colleagues
  • Understands and complies with all FCA regulations and principles applying to the role

 

The Person: Must come from an IFA/wealth management background and have experience of supporting IFA’s/financial advisers in a private wealth focused environment.

  • Required: 2+ years’ experience working within adviser support ideally within investments/pensions advice
  • Required: Previous experience of managing client relationships and fielding technical queries
