Job Description

The Company: A well-established and growing financial planning business looking to appoint an experienced Financial Planning Administrator to support their team of Financial Advisers in a 100% remote working capacity. This is an excellent opportunity suited to someone already working within an IFA, Wealth Management or Financial Services environment who is looking to further develop their career, with a clear progression pathway into a Trainee Paraplanner role within 6-12 months.

  • Working Setup: 100% remote/WFH

 

Package: £28-30k base + full company benefits:

  • Benefits: 4% pension, PMI and full study support (CII)
  • Holidays: 25-days + stats
  • Standard hours: Full-time – 37.5hrs

 

The Role: A varied Financial Planning Administration role providing day-to-day support to Financial Advisers, ensuring an efficient and professional client experience throughout the advice process. Working closely with senior leadership and the wider administration team, key accountabilities include:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to Financial Advisers
  • Prepare and process new business applications across pensions, investments and protection
  • Produce valuations, client correspondence and supporting documentation
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and back-office systems
  • Liaise with clients, providers and third parties to progress cases through to completion
  • Ensure all work is completed accurately and within agreed service standards
  • Support ongoing regulatory and compliance requirement
  • Assist with client review preparation and general servicing activities
  • Deliver a high standard of client service throughout the financial planning journey
  • Develop technical knowledge with a structured progression plan towards a Trainee Paraplanner role

 

The Person: Previous experience within a Financial Planning, Wealth Management or Independent Financial Advice environment (2+ years) is essential, alongside a good understanding of pensions, investments and financial services administration. The successful individual will be highly organised, possess excellent attention to detail and be confident communicating with both clients and providers. This opportunity is ideally suited to someone looking to build a long-term career within financial planning and progress into Paraplanning over the next 6-12 months.
