Job Description

The Company: A top-level whole of market IFA firm (Bradford based) who are part of a larger group and looking to bring in experienced Financial Services Administrator who has supported Advisers & Planners across the breadth of private wealth focused financial advice. Note – Whilst not essential, employee benefits exposure on top would be massively beneficial:

  • Office Location: Bradford
  • Hybrid/Home Working: Hybrid – 3-days office, 2-days WFH

 

Package: £25-26k base + discretionary bonus & full company benefits

  • Key Benefits: 9% pension, PMI, 4xDIS, group income protection + free parking on site
  • Holidays: 26-days + stats
  • Working Hours: Monday-Friday (9am-5pm)

 

The Role: The candidate will have a passion for providing first class administration support and someone who takes pride in their work. This is an excellent opportunity to work towards relevant Level 4 qualifications in Financial Services. Responsibilities, Duties and Tasks include:

  • Providing a robust administration function to the financial planning team in an efficient and timely manner
  • Supports Paraplanners with various tasks to help the team in their production of suitability reports, with a view to moving to a Paraplanning role
  • Carrying out necessary technical research and analysis to support the Financial Advisers and meet client needs and objectives.
  • Preparing cashflow modelling reports to assist with client retirement planning.
  • Completes all work according to procedures and standards
  • Assists in preparation of review and new client meeting information where required
  • Using a variety of software packages, such as Durell, Outlook, Assureweb, Cashcalc & IIress
  • Obtaining quotations for Life Protection business
  • Assisting in the administration of employee benefit schemes such as group life, group

 

The Person: The successful candidate will ideally come from a financial services industry background and have exposure to supporting IFA’s/financial advisers either in a private wealth environment, or corporate/employee benefits.

  • Required: Knowledge of processing new/existing business across investments, pensions and protection/life cover caseloads
  • Required: 2+ years industry experience with exposure to a similar working environment – Either an IFA or wider wealth management business
